Gregory Gay was a Russian born actor who left after the 1917 October revolution. His first screen role was an uncredited role as an officer in John Barrymore's 1928 silent movie about the final days of Tsarist Russia, Tempest. Some of his more visible roles include a bit part as a German banker in 1942's Casablanca and a casino owner in 1960's Ocean's 11. He also pops up in 1961's Blue Hawaii, this starred Elvis and was filmed at the hotel from Death Moon, the Coco Palms Resort.
