What Is the Cognitive Model?
Theory of mind is a set of mechanisms that then allows you to make predictions across that current state of affairs. We have some kind of knowledge about the current situation, but there's also general knowledge and particular knowledge. The gullibility gap means we're not evolved to be able to distinguish machines from people. And so we can take a small amount of intelligent behavior and essentially we assimilate people into the set of human beings.
