How I Decided to Work in Industry
I reached a point where the next academic position I could take would have been six months with a possible renewal for an extra six months moving to another country learning another language. And I need to do something not in academia. The people that you end up interfacing with in data science and as well as like the people touching the data and generating the data is just a very different flavor of workplace. There's a lot of yeah, this is just a different worldview. It depends on where you are geographically when it comes to Germany,. If you're in Berlin, there are not so many industry companies. So you're probably you end up working for a company.
