French vs Louisiana Creole Orthography

I was looking at the French versus Louisiana Creole on the Wikipedia. It feels to me as an outsider that it represents the sounds better. English, I mean, I understand why English is so difficult for people because there's no accents or any markers to tell you how to actually pronounce a word. No accent marks to tell you which one's record or record. You just have to know.
