I think the irony here is that, and I do say this in the book, even though it's some people may consider it problematic but you know, you can't make everybody happy. The European project demanded from Albanians in the beginning of the 20th century to clean themselves from Islamic desires deviant sexualities and ambiguous gender embodiments. And so naturally most Albanians today at least judging from the polls are still homophobic because we still live through the consequences of the project of modernity That the youth gave birth to that homophobia. But I'm not necessarily I'm less interested in reviving them because I find that to be a similar reactionary project as is you go nostalgia; instead I'm interested
