The Myth of Warren Harding
Warren harding was seen by writers and critics at the time as a very poor speaker with a clumsy, long winded and pompous style. The twenties in general were also a high water mark of white supremacism when the the cuklux clan controlled several states. So in all kinds of ways, racial and ethnic thinking were were growing and taking hold at the centre of american politics during this period.
