The Life of David Green

David Green was born on November 13, 1941 in Emporia, Kansas. His father was a preacher and moved around from like congregation to congregation with his flock of 35 people. David's family could go weeks at a time without eating meat. He struggled at school and had to repeat the seventh grade; he started working in the business world as soon as he could. In interviews today, David remembers his parents sacrificing their tiny comforts for the good of the community.
