The Importance of Looking Things Up for Patients

The patient's priorities are not what we would expect and they're often completely different. The references and outcomes that maybe we see cited as standard, say, standard outcome measures for a particular condition might not actually be the things that are important the patient in front of you. And when I think it's clear then that it is positive for the clinician because you're always learning and it's positive for the patient because they're getting the answers that they actually won't need.
