Is Futhark a Restricted ML Family Language?
Futhark looks like kind of a restricted ML family language. In one sense it's just like Haskell that's been cut down to fit into an array model. And in another it's like array programming that you express through Haskell so I don't know quite what to make of that. The second Eureka point is that Stephen mentioned implicit iteration we've talked about rank polymorphism and just not having to be explicit about your indices.
