I did such a good job at a party recently. Someone literally said, what do you do? And they said, oh, I'm actually starting a new job at TikTok on Monday. It was like I'd taken all of my energy to just say my own job title. When someone complimented me, I'd given all that I could give and I did everything wrong. The longer you're in the conversation, the more you want to like do it down. Is it going to be something dismissive or default or to like say, it wasn't really me?"
