The Importance of Forsoking the Past

Paul not only forsook his experiences in Judaism, but also would not linger in his past experiences of Christ and be limited by them. Paul was stretching out to reach the farthest extent of this territory. We need this aspect of Paul's experience in his being a pattern to us.
