Poland's Development Model Since the Cold War

Poland's development model since the end of the Cold War seems to have largely been a success. Poland relies on foreign direct investment, foreign firms and setting up manufacturing hubs across the country in Poland. But there is a counter-narrative which sees the 80s and 90s for all of the apparent success as a corrupt sellout. And without reckoning with this difference of narratives about what looks like a spectacular success story, you can't understand how savage Polish politics has been over last 15 years.
