The iPhone 15 Pro and the 16 Pro Plus

The latest rumors say that the iphone 15 pro max will get the periscope camera but not the iph one 15 pro which annoys me to no end. The 16 lineup is supposed to go up substantially from the 14 lineup where's the 15 isn't that? If that gives more room for the periscopes if that's true fair enough hmm otherwise that feels like a very cynical move to like squeeze a couple more dollars out of someone who wouldn't otherwise go for that.
