Christ's Suffering and Charity Are Identified Together
Christ's suffering and charity are identified together. We can offer up our sufferings for them to merit, not because of our own merit, but because we are seeing ourselves as shared in the story of Christ's merit. And therefore God responding generously and using our suffering for the good of others that we might not even know about.
