Russia and its invasion of Ukraine really kind of illustrated for all of us just how important fossil fuels are. Western Europe gets around 30% of its crude oil normally from Russia and about 40% of its natural gas. And when you have taken steps like closing down coal mines and shutting down nuclear plants with some countries in Europe, it's not quite that easy because there is intermittency with renewables.
