I want to give a hat tip to your great talk about pattern libraries, right? About how should you use them? Yeah, it was awesome. We'll be sure to link to that as well. But I loved your just your approach on that whole subject matter because that is so important now. The goal for pretty much anything that you could possibly sell is how can you make your users awesome. So probably the book that I'm reading at the minute - Badass Making Users Awesome by Kathy Sierra. She uses really bad stock images and like overlays text of, you know, it's a really nice, easy read.
Laura Elizabeth believes developers can learn design. She articulates the importance of reflecting on our users’ needs more than our personal tastes. She touches on how making a product makes us better designers. She also inspires us to always be genuine in our dealings with our customers if we want to build (and keep) trust.
