Pulumi Engine
Pulumi has an engine. The engine takes care of understanding how to talk to each of the different cloud APIs. In Pulumi, there's no such thing as lists or maps or excuse me, lists or sets. It's just an object. And then how that actually works is the SDKs in the language runtimes have a GRPC call back to the Pulumi engine internally.
