The Importance of Humility in Discourse

As a teacher the most important thing I can do is to cultivate that within me and model it in the classroom. A big part of the of the education that happens in a liberal arts classroom is as you alluded to earlier on in the conversation happens to modeling happens to students interacting with you. What we do in the classroom through engagement with the big questions is enact life spontaneously authentically with the students enact to the best of your capacity which is always limited and always leaves you unsatisfied but to the best  to enact that kind of life along with your students.
