How to Answer Consults
Neil Oubstatt: Interns can field consults, but they need to be enrolled in a master's level program or have completed our certification program. If you call in, you're always going to be talking with an ethicist of the NCBC. You're not going to betalking with an intern or fellow at this point. Now I envision down the road, maybe the fellows would be able to start fielding phone consults at some time,. But that's not in the short term plan yet. Right now it's all focusing on emails for fellows and interns.
