A desert has a lot of sun, but it doesn't have a lot of water. And so you can only have a limited amount of plants. Ri a limited number of plants means you can't really have many animals. That's why you go to the desert, it sort of feels like it's not alive. Whereas in the jungle there are infinite organisms near by that walk in house. They're on your arm when you don't want em to. The're everywhere.
