Rose Simpson is an artist from the santa clara pueblo, which is just north of santa fe. She went to art school on the east coast where she was dismayed to live not in a solid mud house, but in a wood framed house. Rose's family has a long tradition of building with mud and it wasn't until she moved back that she realized how much adobe means to her.
