The New Era: A New Game Design
It would have been our version of edge of extinction. That sounds like a spiritual death with little chance of rebirth. And we like this new design. We do think it's a fun game that forces players to rely on their instincts by making faster and riskier decisions, which puts a premium on having the right information and alliances you can trust. So when you look at what we put into that with the faster pace and the smaller tribes and no food and limited supplies, you got to earn everything. You have a risk reward game, you have beware advantages. These first four seasons live up to that.
