Is the Quality of the Research a Good Criteria?

i have a bit of a flirting interest with ar nutrition science, exercise science. And the more i read into it, the more confused i get. I think part of that could be that there's a bit of an issue when you're measuring these things where a lot of the data is observational. It's very difficult to do a kind of the gold standard randomise control trial for anything longer than a few months. Sometimes you can get studies that say wildly different things on the same topic. You can almost find a study to back whatever point you want to make. Do you think that's a fair criticism of this kind of spacen? For yourself as well, coming as an evolutionary
