The Pirates of the Past
You topi is partly a history of rumours and dreams, the stories that said there was this community here that had grown up in this area. It's useful in two senses: First, it registers a sort of critique, that if you're attracted or drawn to utopias, then there's something that you're not satisfied with as inevitable in your present experience. The second is playing through how else? How else might it be? And I think the notion of pirates are sort of bound up with that.
