Is There a Great Desire to Accelerate Lethal Autonymous Weapon Systems?

Autonomous weapons could be used as a way of controlling civilian populations. Amnesty international, for example, is quite concerned about that. I don't know that ai systems are ever going to have real emotions, but something resembling compassion might be a good thing. Is there a great desire to push forward in using a i in lethal terms? No, i don't think anybody has a huge appetite to accelerate lethal autonymous weapon systems just for the sake of accelerating them. There are real concerns about international security and stability. In the face of nations developing a i to support decisions at all levels, which, with the vast volumes of data we have, is going to be essential. It's important
