Adorno said that media such as radio and especially television could be used to make people forcibly retarded. I empathize with people on a certain level because the stuff we're talking about is not easy. It can be really hard to come to terms with the fact that something we spend our entire lives in front of or have many fond memories with can actually be a tool used to destroy us at so many levels.
