Greece's herodotus mentions a case as well, doesn't he? Yes, it's very interesting, although there's not much there. But unfortunately, it's frustratingly suctinct. He just talks about the people called the mery who ar associated with the scythians. And hee says that they're wizards, goetes is the word he uses, wicking norma catetes as wizard and that every so often they turn into wolves. So brief as it is and frustratingly under explained has it is, that's a very clear statement of of werewolfism. It's such a shame that het does not tell us any more.
