The Importance of Immigration in the United States

Jerry Navarrette: I oversaw most of the offices that are located along the southwest border of Texas and Mexico. He was on the Judiciary Committee and he was part of that 2013 bill that got 68 votes in the Senate and then never got passed in the House. Navarrette spent a week in Tijuana trying to sort of observe what this policy looks like in practice. The numbers aren't down necessarily, there's just sort of this wait and see period as people try and figure out what this new policy is.
