Jet McBride's Legal Insanity
On January 16, a jury found that Jet McBride was legally insane when he hit the PG&E employees. Every doctors all said that McBride suffered a psychotic episode during the incident. Doctors testified that McBride believed he influenced events such as the resignation of Hillary Clinton and Pope Benedict the 16th. His attorney told the court that he suffers from bipolar manic disorder and did not intend to hurt anyone. If he is still considered dangerous after nine years, prosecutors could petition to keep him confined longer.
