The difficulty of getting rid of all your literalisms, at least in principle, whether you can actually do it is often a psychological problem. But then you're prepared to make the moves that Corbin calls turning inside out. And what I was trying to say is, once you've realized that reductionism is a mistake as a strategy, and that as, as young, beautifully intuited that what you want instead is what you call amplification.
