Vincent Van Gogh's Story

Vincent van Gogh was fired from his job by art dealer Goopiel and Coe in 1876. His Protestant family's suspicions, fear of family embarrassment, and the dislike of Vincent by the firm were set against him. According to his letters, his interests were already shifting from one family profession to another, religion. In the years that follow, he devotes himself to becoming a missionary.
