Do we know what point in women's careers it tends to go wrong? Is there a problem in the sort of so called pipe line? In guessing women er from the sort of middle jobs up to the top? I think that's absolutely true. Having these systems in place so that when people own their child bearing years, it's fairly easy for them to go back to work is something that is extremely important.
'Sprakkar' is an ancient Icelandic word meaning extraordinary or outstanding women. It forms the basis of the new book by Eliza Reid, author and co-founder of the Iceland Writers Retreat, who is also the nation's First Lady.
