John's Time in Ireland
Old Henry sent John to Ireland with a massive wad of cash to spend there. He hired mercenaries, bribed allies and building castles. But unlike his elder brother Richard he has no meaningful fighting experience at all. So in fairly short order,. he fritters the money away, having a good time. By Christmas he has to abandon the mission and come back to Old Henrywith his tail between his legs.
