Liquid democracy is a clever way of dodging the underlying dilemma that I was trying to point out right so either you have systems in which we do vote on everything all the time and we are actually expressing our voice in a very direct way. But it requires tremendous attention and time which most people are unwilling to avoid. So what something like liquid democracy says is hey you get a vote on everything but you can also delegate your vote. That's a really clever way of making a system that's fluid enough so that each person can engage at the level at which they are interested in.I'm probably much more sanguine than the average person about the raw manipulation of people through technology.
