How Do We Get From One Particular Place to Another in a Universe?
In one sense, as far as quantum theory is concerned, we can't say that the world is discrete or the world is continuous. Now, how can that be possible? Well, because you always only ever find yourself in a particular universe where you're observing an electron orbiting the nucleus at one energy level and not other states. And so this raises the question of how it is that in universes where electrons only have the possibility of being in one of those two states, how it gets from the lower state to the higher energy state.
