Why Micro Waves Are So Invisible?

Micro waves have the property ofa heating water. Also works on oil. Tuanicstand, but wi'll heat water. And since all our foods have water in them, it heats it up. Why did we settle on micro wavesh because those other waves actually don't make atoms jiggle. They're so small that they can't act on a whole atom.
