The 30 Years War in the Holy Roman Empire
In the seventeenth century, we can see frequent wars that often involved both interstate conflict and internal strife within kingdoms and empires. The 30 years war clearly stemmed from both of these two causes that i already talked about. It was, on the one hand, a religious war. And it also was, in some respects, a war over food - who would control key areas of central europe that were still able to produce ficant amounts of grain.
