There is a case for doing something about pollution, but the way we've been going about it is the wrong way. If you don't want to regulate it, Friedman says you tax it, you tax pollution. Conservatives will be able to say, oh, this is our story. This is our song. It's rock solid conservatism to act on climate change. You've got to send the right messenger because most politicians are waiting to follow.
