The Importance of Software Engineering
Software is always an accumulating advantage, meaning that hardware, you redesign the whole thing every few years. Mobileye has been oriented around selling a chip. And they haven't yet transitioned to being able to sell software in order to, and just letting the chip be a commodity. So we would rather let Qualcomm, let it media, they have other markets for their chips that's driving their R&D faster than Mobileye will make it faster.
