The Problem With Ice Climbing
Kyle tried to get an ice screw in for about 10 minutes holding his entire body weight in his calves. By this time the sun had edged over the mountain and cast the face in warm light. Finally, he managed to get a 16 centimeter screw into the softening ice that seemed good. With one screw in, Kyle decided to keep moving up the slope. He could see the finish line.
