I think that we are withdrawing more and more away from concreteness into abstract concepts. My sense is that in the concrete, we can be accepting of each other if you open ourselves up to it. I have just translated a Marathi classic novel in which caste is the central issue. A pundit who is working on his own smriti is saying that caste is a good thing because let's examine really what would happen with the kind of casteless society that you're talking about. So yeah, that's so good for them.
