Marco's Journey to Dong Ping
Most of the cities we are going through will be big and wealthy. Marco would call Dong Ping the finest city in the area. He noted the great wealth, much of it derived from the silk trade. At this time in his narrative, Marco talked a great yelled-out Chinese women who are very different from the women he had encountered on his excursions into the interior of China.
