The History of Airline Smoking

The first banning was that Channel Islands airline, or I mean, from 1977. Airlines were reticent to pull back on smoking because they didn't want to lose customers. So advocates turned to the civil aeronautics board to petition for relief. The CAB issued a rule requiring airlines to provide separate sections for smokers and non-smokers.
