The Eucharist Is Just for This Life

The Eucharist is something we're receiving here in this present life, but it's also pointing us beyond. So throughout this weekend, we're going to be reflecting on some of these ways in which the here and now is strengthened through the liturgy itself. I'd like to conclude with just a brief reflection on a prayer written by Thomas Quinas himself, the Collect for Corpus Christi. Every time we do benediction, we say this Collect after the blessing itself. And then each time we join the friars for the liturgy of the hours, because we're in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament, we pray an antiphon that Thomas Quinas wrote,. as well
