Random Forests or Support Vector Machines?
random forests are one of the best starting points for a lot of modelling. Support vector machines are mathematically cool, but i can't think of anyone who has used them in production. I always considered a suporfector machine more as sort of a teaching function. It's mathematically genious. And tot canself really well tica, and what happens when people are on the wrong side of the disetike,. When a data point is on the right side of the decision line. All the con as, totally, totally useful.
