Anne James was a code cipher team leader in World War II. She worked with two thousand fannies, who were drafted into the war effort. Anne says she remembers literally walking up the gang plank on to her ship to go. But one thing she wasn't prepared for was the attention of men. The story will be shown tonight at 9pm on Channel 4.
