The Importance of 2020 Hindsight
I think it's been very well was done very well in the film is at least established acknowledging how the anti communist hysteria field so much of what was going on. I do appreciate that this film has created this pop culture moment where all of a sudden we're focusing again on whether or not the issue of using nuclear weapons and like just the kind of real backlash that can come from that. The choice to not really include any actual images of the people that were harmed in Nagasaki and Hiroshima could be an educational moment, but also horrifying. You can only read so much and hear so much from people that live through it to really understand how horrible it was for them.
