What's Your Role in the Movement for Black Lives Matter?

You have been part of the black lives matter protests before, but how would you describe your role in the movement for black lives right now this spring? Yes, you know, i've never really thought of myself as an activist. I think of myself largely asm a teacher. And so, you know, my work is as an educator, as a writer, in writing and thinking and teaching about the sort of historical context that shapes the current landscape of inequality.
