How would you advise someone who, like me, is entering into this space without access to that archaeological record? Access to the books, of course, but not access to the physical experience. The great dismal swamp now hasa, at least two access points that you can use,. There's a state park access on the eastern side of the swamp in north carolina off of us. And then there's an access road near washington ditch that will take you down to lake drummond.
