The Cultural Change of Tattoos
In med school, we were told that if someone comes in a tattoo, it's one of two things either. This was from the Holocaust and so you treated that as a completely different category of tattoos. Now I would say in the last 15 years, I haven't interviewed a high performing graduate student or med student who doesn't have a tattoo. That's within one lifetime how dramatically that has changed. And now it is so mainstream, even for women to have sleeves.
